Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Industrial Services Operative to join our expanding team and support the delivery of specialist industrial and environmental projects across the UK.

The Role
Based from our Kidderminster depot, this role involves working on customer sites throughout the UK, delivering a wide range of industrial and environmental services.
The role involves regular travel and working away from home. Typically, this will involve one to three nights away per week, although some larger projects may require longer periods away.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll be involved in a variety of specialist projects, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and to the highest standards.
Projects include:
- Oil tank cleaning
- Fuel polishing
- Confined space operations
- Industrial water jetting
- Site decommissioning
- Fuel and oil tank installations
- Environmental and industrial maintenance projects
- Application of coatings and linings such as epoxy and polyurea
- Garage forecourt projects
Key Responsibilities
We would expect people applying for this position to demonstrate experience in all of the below:
- Carry out industrial services work safely and efficiently on customer sites.
- Assist with oil tank cleaning, fuel polishing, confined space entry, water jetting and decommissioning projects.
- Operate tools, plant and specialist equipment in accordance with training and company procedures.
- Follow site-specific RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and all health and safety requirements.
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude on customer sites.
- Complete job documentation and report any issues to the Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment and work areas to a high standard.
- Represent INNOVO professionally at all times.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
- Be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Hold a full UK manual driving licence (HGV licence advantageous).
- Be physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual work.
- Be capable of working in confined spaces and at height.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Be reliable, punctual and professional.
- Have a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Be flexible regarding working hours, including occasional weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours.
- Work well as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not essential:
- CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport
- Confined Space Entry
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- High Pressure Water Jetting
- IPAF
- First Aid at Work
- CPCS or NPORS plant qualifications
- HGV Licence
Experience Required
- Experience within industrial services, environmental services, construction, utilities, drainage, mechanical engineering or a similar practical industry is desirable.
- Practical experience using tools, machinery or industrial equipment.
- Previous experience working on customer sites would be advantageous.
